Whether you are working on installing your classic with a full new interior or exchange just a few new parts in, our skilled team are ready to bring your dream vision to life!

Our trim shop is based within our well-known factory on the Suffolk coastline, where we have produced high quality classic car interiors for over 40 years. Blending our expertise in manufacturing and fitting, we truly understand the importance of getting interior retrimming right to create a seamless final look.

Current Services

To kickstart the Â鶹¾«Æ· Trim Shop, we will be taking on car interior trimming projects for marques we currently work with, from Classic Mini, through to the VW campervans and everything in between. We have a wide selection of interior trim for you to choose from, including our hand finished panels and intricately sewn seat covers, not forgetting our wide variety of colour options to allow you to customise your car's interior or keep it an OEM style.

With the interior parts chosen, our production team will begin creating your vision. Any original seats will be restored to their original comfort or choose from our complete seat range, either way providing you a smoother journey home! We also install our panels, carpets and a selection of accessories, providing recommendations to help maintain the quality of your newly trimmed interior with products such as door membranes and underfelts.

We require you to arrange transport of the car to us but we will safely store your classic in our Suffolk factory and it will be under our insurance whilst it is being retrimmed by our skilled team, see our terms and conditions for more information.

Seat fitting

We have offered our seat fitting service for many years now and with our current team, Tom, has over 20 years of expereince so your seats are in safe hands!

The process involves sand-blasting and repainting your original frames before refitting any new foams, diaphragms then the covers.

We also offer a selection of complete seats if you are looking for a modern twist, choose from our Suffolk seats across most of our ranges, or replica recliners and bucket seats if your are retrimming your classic Mini.

The one common theme with classic cars is there is frequently variation within the interiors or slight alterations in the body work. The benefit of using the Newton Trim Shop is we can produce all the items to be a specific fit on your car's contours, creating a seamless finish throughout the interior.
